Some remarkable facts and figures as to the problem of a clean wilk supply were instanced at Broadstairs on Saturday at the

The effect on the children of the clean pure milk, such as is now obtained, compared with the results with the inferior milk of the previous year, has been tested by compar ing the increase of weight of the children before and after the establishment of the dairy. During the 10 weeks April 29 to July 8, 1913, (balore the dairy was start- ed), the average gain per child per day was 147%. Daring the 10 weeks April 28 to July 7, 1914, the average gain per child per day was 1 90oz. In other words, there was an increase in the average daily gain per child of 0 43oz.
