A Chinese constable WAS charged, at the Police Court on Saturday, before Mr. J. R. Wood, with being concerned in a gang robbery. Mr. C, A. 8. Russ appeared for the defendant.
The case for the prosecution was that the defendant, and Another stopped the complainant and a friend, and, on the stren th of his being a gunstable, searched the friend. That doue, they chased the complainant into a godown and searched bim, taking} everything they could find.
