The market for local stocks has continued firm throughout the week and closes with an upward tendency. Bar Silver is quoted 20.1/16 per oz, randy and 26.1/16 per oz. for forward delivery, market steady. Exchange on London opened to-day at 1/10.5/8 T.T
Para Rubber is quoted from London at 2/11 per lb, and the market for shares firmer,
Banks-Hongkong and Shanghai Banks have advanced to 8825 buyers, after sales at $820, $822) and $8c5. London quotes $ 84. Marine Insurancee - Cantons are atoady at $310 buyers. North Chinas can be obtained at Tls. 140. Unions have bayera at, $775, Yangtɛzes are unchanged at $194 or 73.
