THIRD GYMKHANA.

Progranime for the Meeting.

Following is the programme of the third gymkhana meeting, to be held at the Happy Valley on Saturday, July 11:-

1.-315 p... Gymkhana Stakes, Valuo $200, Distance One Milo. For all China Ponios, Catch weights at 10st. lbs. Winners of an open race or open Griffin race or Ponies that have won the aggrogato prize is tho Gymkhana Stakes in any season 51b9. extra. Nou-winning Sub- acription Grillins allowed 51b8.

A Cur to be run for five times called the Gymkhana Cup, will be presented at the end of the Season to be won by the Pony scoring most marks in the rucgA- for the Gymkhana Stakes at the Cyaikhann er tinge during the Season, counting 4 points for a firet; 2 for a second; and 1 for a third: The benefit of marks) already scored to pass with the Pony on a sale. Any winner of the race this season to carry 5lbs. extra for each win in subsequent starts for the Race, but in the event of a Pony carrying the penalty not winning, 2lba, to be doductod uext, time he starts. Tokyo. Received June 12. The trial of Messrs. Hormann, Pooley, Blundell, and others in connection with the Japanese naval con- tract sonsation commenced yesterday morning, an array of foreign and Japanese counsel defending. The British and German consulates were represented.
