Jour permission, take them as read.

The result for the period under review is the most satisfactory that we have experienced the past five years, and it is to's great extent due to an understanding having been arrived at in May lost our neighbours in the port, the object of which is primarily, to foster shipbuilding, docking and repairing industry of the Colony, and secondly, to eliminute a great deal of the cut-throat competition which had previously existed between the two com panies. The figures before you Are some evidence of the corsation of that strenuous competition, but it must be borne in mind that during the period under review we have had to work off a fair amount of constructional and repair work which was contracted for at low rates. I would like to take this opportunity of saying that it is not the policy of your Directors, nor of our Leighboura, to force rates up to any level that might involve loss of business;
