Shanghai, Received March 14," Renter's Peking correspondent states that the French Minister has asked the Waichisopu for the institution of & Franco-Chiness Commission to proceed to the South to enquire into the recent incident on the Annam frontier, when Chinese troops fired on the French, believing them to be brigands.
It is stated that the Waichinopa has promised that the Chinese members of the Commission shall leave within eight days for the scene of the incident.
