With regard to the Colombo Har, bur, Sir Maurice said that in view of the fact that the Suea Canel was to be deepened to 35 feet, it had become necessary to
take deepen bour there to the same extent, and he anticipated that a huge dred- ger would be arriving there in in about two months to make a beginning with the work.""
Sir Maurice expects to leave Australia on December 31 and will return home via Singapre, which place he desires to visit in order to see how a work running into several milli ns of ponuda in progressing under the direct ion of his firm.
