On Tuesday evening the Club entertained E.M.S. Minotaur and an open, bright and most en- joyable game resulted in victory for the club by two goals, one try (13 points) to ail,

From the kiok off the naval men pressed and looked as if they were to score but a break away by Claxton relieved mattare for the Olub who, keeping up the pressure, at length soozed be- tween the posts. Claxton con- verted his own try.

1

Ding, dong play was the order for the remainder of the first half, there being no further scoring.

In the second half some fine pamming between the Club thres resulted in Claxton's again poor. ing, he, however, failing tooonvert. From this point the Minotaur forwards took possession of the game, aming their feet to great advantage, and tackling in grand style. The Club, however, pulled themselves together again and Another good passing bout amongst the halves and three quarter ended in a score by Kempthorne, Rouse converted,

The olub forwards showed great improvement in getting the ball away from the scrums while the threequarters and halvos did well with the opportunities that came. their way.

The Club will hold spractice next Tuesday evening. Will all Rugger members kindly note and do their best to turn out? It is hoped to hold the first Cap game, versas the Navy, on 20th instant an that members must do all in their iwer to pre-lily getfit.
