T.K K. Debentures. The Toyo Kisen Kaishi is re- ported to have failed in sa attempt to issue debentures for three million yen in the foreign market. Negotiations are now proceeding with the First, Ona Hundredth Mitsu Bishi and Fil teenth Binks to obtain a loan of two million yen, to bear interest at the rate of eight per cent. per annum and redeemable within a three years. The money will be used in redeeming the old loan, smounting to Y.3,300,000, which is due in Nóvember next. As to -redemption of the balance of 1,300,000, the Company will raise Y.650.000 by making a call if five pen per share, while the remain or will be repaid hy eech. The matter is to be submitted to he semi-annual general meeting. the Company to be held to- warde the end of this mouth. Taxation of Vessels in the North.
