We regret to record that the set- baok has not been confined to. rubbers, for tin shares have only too readily responded to the fall in the price of the metal and in most instances have been marked down considerably. Industrials just manage to hold their OWD* with very little business passing.

Rubbers. There have been sellers round about current quota- tions right down the list and it appears as if the market could count upon but little support from this side until general con- ditions are more settled. As we alose there are still sellers in most intances of local shares.

Mining-Tronohs and Malayan Tins have been the chief sufferers in the decline and now stand at 12.78 and $1.10 respectively, buyers. Ting Kils have small Hallera at $10.50, Kanabis $1.85, Sungei Gaus $18, Royal Johorea 80 ote, and Raube $2.00. Small transactions bave taken place in Kramat Pulais at 17, Siputeha $5.45 and Rambatons $11.15.

General. Very little has been done in this section. A few ' Straits Traders made $47.25. OF closing sellers, whilst Fraser and
