London. Received July 8. The Committee of the Mansion
House Scott Fund reports that, thanks to the liberality of the public in all parts of the Empire and in India, the donations totalled £75,000.
The money is to be allocated as follows:-Lady Scott and Hop, Schlt's Commander 12,000; mother and sisters, £6,000; Mra. Wilson, £8,500; Mes, Bowers and two daughters, £4,500; and others, sums totalling £3,000.
Besides, £17,500 will be allo- eated to the publication of tlio scientific results of the Expedi tion, £8,000 for a tablet to be placed in St. Paul's Cathedral and a monument to be erected in Hyde Park, and £10,000 to ou Endowment Fund for Research.
