Manila Paper's Account.
The following account of the Philippino typhoon is contained in the "Manila Times" of May
secure anchorage. The centre of the typhoon passed very nearly over that harbour, and the baro meter fell to a fraction over 20 inches, but owing to the protec tion afforded by the surrounding hills, the vessel aufered little damage.
