Manchuria Rice Crop,
A report from Moukden states that last year's millet crop in South and North Manchuria was exceptionally good, nad is ad- mmitted to have bean more than twice the normal yield. The output is superior in quality, and is need by the Japanese as a supplementary food-stuff with rice. A notable increase has been observed in the export of this kind of cereal to Japan since last December. The daily amount of business in the Dalay market has often exceeded 10 carloads (300) tons). A small portion of this. goes to South China, but the major portion to Japan. The .price in the Japanese markets is about $180 per picul,-" 0. Critic."
