The stranded German steamer Deike Rickmers was auccessfully refloated at high water on the 9ái inst. after the combined efforts of H.Q.M.S. Emden, H.J.MS. Suzuya, and the Shirogane, and loft for Nagasaki the ensuing day. The Emden immediately laft for Tsingtan, and the Suzuya and the Shirogane ra turned to Port Arthur yesterday. Thirteen members of the crew of the German barque Parma, which arrived at Yokohama from New York on November 8, left the ship on the 4th instant, cu a protest against the conduct of one of the officers. As they refused

Ferry Boat's Boller Bursts. The boiler of one of the small ferry boats which run between the British Concession and Wu- chang, blew up on the 6th instant," reports the “Central China Post.” The boat had just left the pontoon beside the consular landing, when the accident happened.
