RUGBY FOOTBALL.

On Saturday afternoon the second round of the Rugby Cup Competition was played off when the Club beat the Navy by 17 points to 6 after a strenuous game. The Club had all the better of natters in the first half and quite deserved their lead of 14 points! to nil. Not long after receiving the ball from the line-out Claxton dropped a good goal, while later he again orossed the line near the posts for Sutherland to convert and the latter also converting a try by Fisher, the Club managed to establish a winning lead, at half time. It was fortunate that they did an as the Navy largely controlled the game in the second half and managed to cross the line twice. During the ocensional bursts by the Club, Olaxton again managed to cross far out but the kick failed. The
