may be, the silly suffragetto dooms that she is unworthy of her "divino cause" if she does not
take the opportunity of bringing
it and herself into contempt. There is, however, somo consola- tion in the fact that in the per-
petration of Buch disgraceful incidents the Suffragists have further damaged their cats and completely alienated what little. sympathy there may have re- mained in the minds of Homo people, and also that the culprit in this particularly offensive piece of hooliganism has lain herself open to Bevere punishment, which aft will hope she will get as she richly deserves it.

The Motor Regulations. Thecaso,wo gather, will be taken on appeal to the higher Court, and weanwhile we need any noth- ing further of the legal aspects of the matter. Apart from the question of the validity of the re- ' gulations there is the equally im- portant one na to their alleged necessity. Wo rofer oxeluaivo- ly to the regulations hibiting, in contradistinction to regulating, motortraffic.. The statement madó by H.E: the Officer Administering Tho Government in the Legislative Council on Thursday supplies sound enough argument for the imposition of reasonable regula- tions on motorcar traffic in the Colony, but we fail to see that it gives any excuse what- ever for the prohibitions imposed by the now regulations.
