A curious case has been heard which the Singapore Slipway Co. nt Singapore Supreme Court in claimed $1,241, being cost of repairs to the steamer Sam Seng, It appeared that the Sam Seng originally belonged to the Chum- pon Co., of Bangkok, from which Rhe was bought by Captain Hinsch, but no money was paid. The Chumpon Co. also did not nak for payment. The ship was taken off the Siamese register and brought to Singapore, where also
