On the other hand four now pensioners have been elected, leaving 42 at the end of the year. The amount paid in pensions and donations' was £1,603 10s. As usual, the exponses in administer- ing the funds were very small, being only £51 18s. 9J., of which £27 108. 8d. was paid to tho nobiety's collector. Tho.subscrip tione, potwithstanding the oarnost appeal for £1,000 in the last report, only amounted to £855 144. 6d, an increase certainly of about £23 as compared with 1910. But considering the flourishing stato of the shipping industry. during the year under review, this was disappointing. The sum of £178 8. was received in ilonations, including €10. from Mr. John Byron, £10. F'nin the Baltic Amateur Dramatic Society, and £5 from the Baltic Riso and Sweet Pea Society, for which the commit'ee topder their grateful thanks.
The expendituro las exceeded the incomo by £300, but as there was a cash balance,
