Banks-Hongkong and Shang- hai Banks after sales at $880 havo mellors at $875; the London price is £82.10.. ....
Marines Insurancoą.-Unions have sold $850 and oloze steady at the rate. North Chines arO wanted at $147.1-2, and Yong- tazes at $212.1-2 ox 73. Cantons have sellers at $197.1-2..
Fire Insurances.--Hongkong Firos and China Fires are a ne- glected market at $361 and $131 rospectively.
Shipping. Hongkong, Canton and Macao Steamboats have changed hands at $26.1-2, and there are further sellers at the rato. Indo-Chinas are strong at the improved rate of $81.1-2. China and Manilas have sellers at $10.75. Shell Transports have improved in London to 87-, mid- dle price. Star Ferries are un- changed at $27.1-4 (old) and $17 (now).
Refineries-A fair number of China Sugars have changed hands at $108 and $108.50 and the market closes strong with buyers at $108. Luzona are strong at $30 buyers.
Mining. Langkata have buy- ers at Tls, 82; the output for the month of January is 13,335 tons, an increase of 1,235 tons ou the December output. Rauba are on offer at 83.70,
'Docks, Wharves and Godowns. -Hongkong* Dooks are procur. able at $45. Shanghai Dooks are unchanged at Tle, 58, Kow- loon Wharvas hava ateadily de- clined throughout the week to a selling quotation of $53. A good number of shares have changed hands at this price.
Lands, Hotels and Baildings.- Hongkong Lands are offering at $98, Kowloon Lande have im proved to a buying rate of $34 and West Points are still wanted at $49. Humphreys Estates have doolined to.6.1-2 sellers, Bhang-| hai Lands are,ossier at Tix. 96,
Cottons-Hongkong Cottona are in demand at 85.1-4 and Esro's are unchanged at Tle. 80. Miscellaneous.China Provi- dents are weak at $8.00: Comenta at $300, China Borneos at $10.1-2. Ropes at $18 have ellers. Daily Farms have buyers at 20.
