Groat success has attended a sorios of experiments made by the staff of the Vernon Torpedo Sohool at Portsmouth in controlling sup, marines Rolely by Hertzian or wireless wavos.

Tho Vernon torpedo exports, havo discovered a device which makes it possible to navigate asub marine from tho deck of a worship though the little vessel may have no one aboard. The experiments have shown that so comploto is the influence exorcised over the craft by means of the wireless wavos that it can be driven either submerged or on the surface.
