Great New Cruiser. The gigantic armoured cruiser Princess Royal, which was launchi od at Barrow on the 29th ult, by the Princess Royal, (the Duchess of File) is the second vessel of hor type to take the water for the Royal Navy. The first of the class was the Lion, launched at Devonport, in August of last year, which will ran hor trials in a fow months.

She displaces 28,350 tona and will have turbino ongines of 70,000 or 76,000 horse-power, slightly more powerful than those whielt drive the groat Cunardors Moure- tania and Lusitania. Sho is ox- pected to attain a speed of about 30 knots at soR.
