PIRATES AT HAINAN.

THE HONGKONG TELEGRAPH SATURDAY MAY 13 1911

On April 27th, a band of 100 or more pirates entered Kachok market and looted the town. The piratos were armed with good rifles and had plenty of ammuni- tion. All the principal shops wore luotod of money and goods which the pirates compelled coo lios to carry.

The attack was woll planned and executed. The pirates are Cantousse-speaking, and some connected with gambling com have been recognized as formerly panios.
