Mr. E. Furrer Baynes, the local advocato and solicitor, was examined respecting his bank- ruptcy. Replying to Mr. David, the noting Official Assignee, deb-- tor said he had boon practising as a solicitor in Malacon during the past year and had received a roquest to furnish an account of his receipts and expenditure. In August he made out an account and gavo it to his taniby to post, and if it had not boon recoiyed it wire due to the tamby's caroless. 11089. Ho admitlod having received repeated requests to furnish the information desired, and presumed he had a lotter pointing out it was contempt of court in not submitting the accounts and stating that if they wore not dospatched immediately tho matter would be brought to the notice of the court.
