In company with Anthendore Vidol, master, and Hessy Clothide, second hand, 1 sailed from Port Victoria, Maba, on January 8th, 1910, for Ause Royale, with a cargo of rice, intending to sail from there to L. Hedu Nord, for a cargo of guano for. Takamaki. Mahe. On January 9th the weather was very bad, a heavy rain falling and it was very misty. This continued until soon, when it cleared up. We then became aware that we had been blown out of our course and out of the sight of the islands. Our Captain did not know where we had got to. We sailed about, for a con

siderable time endeavouring to get a bight of land, but could not see any. We eventually sighted a Liverpool passenger steamor.
