The annual report is as follows:- During the year a large variety of cases have been treated in the bospitals; some WOTE CHIGS of severe bums or injuries, others were farlons medical or eye cases which had been neglected or made wores by native methods of treatment, One case was that of a fisherman whose right band was completely shattered, two Spges of his left hand blown off, and bis face- burned by the explosion of a dydamla-cartridge which exploded as he was throwing it loto the water to kill fish. There is often great difficulty in obtaining any reliable history in poisoning cases, but fortunately symptoms of the more common poisons can be readily recognised.
