It was at first reported that a number of busk notes, etc., found in the lining of clothing which had belonged to a man who died at Kew recently, represented a sum of about £1,000. It is now stated, however, that the sum is less than 100. The circumstances of the discovery are peculiarly interesting.

Interviewed, Mrs. Meldand emphatically denied the statement that the notes discovered represented £1,000. The total sum, she said,
