Canyon, 15th January. H. E. Viceroy Yuan has twice lately received commoolcations from the foreign consuls at Canton in which they complyined about fate- graphic meissges being delayed in delivery by the Chinese Telegraph Office. The Viceroy has inntracted the Chinese Telegraph Administra- tion to look lato the matter and to effect the necessary reform.

BAY AT THE CRIMINAL SESSIONS.
Before Mr. Justice Gomperta at the Criminal Sessions this morning, Kwok Choi and Chun Fan were indicted on a charge of armed robbery in Yau-ma-ti Bay on the 6th January last. Mr. C. G. Alabaster instructed by Mr. H. L. Dandys, in, from the Crown Solicitar's office, prosecuted. The prisoners were undefended ́and entered a plea of not guilty.,
