ORDER MADE OUT BY THE CHIEF JUSTICE

Before the Hop. Mr. W. Rear-Davies, C. (Acting Chief Justice) at the Supreme Court, this morning, Mr. Eldon Potter, instructed by Mr. F. P. Hatt (of Mestre, Bratton and Hall), mentioned the case' in which it was moved on bahalf of Ko Fal Shan, the executor of the will of Ip Chuk Kal, for an order that the lettere of administration of the estate of the dacensed Ip Chak Kai, left mondministered and with the will attached, granted by the Court, on the 26th April, 1909, to Ip lu Kwan, be revoked and declared nail and vold.

At that time, the latter left by the Dorflinger, the accounts being in defendant's name. In point of fact, the plaintiffs could have easily claimed the fall amount instead of half of it only.

A wall-dressed Chinaman appeared before Mr. J. R. Wood (Second Magistrate) in the Police Court this morning, charged with so alleged wrongful mortgage transaction. The defondant is alleged to have impersonated one Li Fake sometime in 1906, while in point of fact the latter was dead at the time of the im. personation, by means of which the defendant is alleged to have succeeded in putting through a mortgage transaction whereby he obtained $10,000. In connection with the affair, a Chi- pese broker was sentenced to one year's simple imprisonment in the August Criminal Sessions and it was not till lately that defendant was apprehended and subsequently arrested. Mr. H. L. Dannys, jr., (from the Crown Solicitor's office) appeared for the prosecution and Mr. W. E. L. Shenton (of Messrs. Deacon, Looker and Descon) defended. The case was remand- ed.
