The San Francisco, Globs of June 29 Says:— At a meeting of 200 Chinese merchants con nected with the American, trade the boycott
against the Pacific Mail Steamship company was declared Sunday night in Hongkong.
Several Chinese stated that passengers an one of the company's steamers ware put ashore at Kobe on the ground that they had trachoma, despite the fact that they had been passed by the regular physicians at Hongkong. Their fires were not refunded and they had to pay their way back from Kobe, it was alleged,'
