Mr. H. N. The Chinese Delimitatios Commissioner, H. E. Ko Ya Him, arrived here yesterday from Hongkong by the shallow draft curiser Klang Ta. It is reported that the parport of H. E. Ko's visit to Canton is to consult with the Acilog Viceroy, H. E. Wu, on masters having reference to the subsisting pegotiations with the Portu guese Delimitation Commissioner op the Macao boundary question, as he has experien ced some difficulties in his delicate mission.

CHINESE REPORT OF BRITISH INTENTION.

On the 31st ultimo two buildings adjacent to one another in Lo Pai Hong streat in the Western suburb suddenly collapsed at 12.30 p.m. without warning. In the accident five persons were burled under the debris. Happily, prompt assistance was at hand and the un- fortunate victims were extricated nose too on; they were suffering from arious in- juries.
