disguise or conceal. It was not dreamed out, popularity and success. There is nothing to or discovered by accident; it was studied out, science. It is palatable as honey and contains on the solid principles of applied medical all the nutritive and curative properties of Fure Cod Liver Oil, extracted by us from fresh cod livers, combined with the Compound Syrup of Hypophosphites and the Extracts of Malt and Wild Cherry. This remedy is praised by all who have employed it in any of the diseases it is recommended to relieve and cure, and is affective from the first dose. In Anemin, Scrofula, Nervous and General Debility, Ip- fluenza, La Grippe, and Throat and Long Troubles, it is a specific. It is precisely what it is said to be, and has won the confidence of with a faith and hope that arise from the history the public on that basis. You may resort to it of what it has done for others. Dr. Thos. Hun. Stucky says: "The continued use of it in my practice, convinces me that it is the most palatable, least nauseating, and best prepara tion now on the market," One bottle proves its intrinsic value. "You cannot be dis- appointed in it.". Sold by chemists throughout the world.

There is not the slightest doubt that if this submarine gear will do even a litile of what its inventor and Dr. lberti claim for it then the recovery of wrecked and injured ships will be revolutionised. 1.

THE HYDROSCOPE,

The principal invention, perhaps, is the by droscop, or a telescope for use under water. 10 a few words, the hydroscope is a steel plat form, buoyed on a cork base, on which zo men can stand. From its contra a hollow column of steel descends into the ses, with a diameter large enough to permit a man to descend it, by means of some rungs, to keel which is a submarine camera, through the feasts of which the world beneath the waves is seen, below and around, for an astonishing distance. It was from this piece of apparatus that the directors viewed the foundered galleons.

With the hydroicope is a submation boat of such canning invention, according to the desigo and the prospectus, that it is a free agent, and can swim in the waters beneath, or travel the sea floor like a motor car. A specimen of this | host was sold for £18,000 to the Japanese Gov ernment to locate the Russian wrecks sunk at Port Arthur, It is drives electrically by pro- peliers, and is furnished with mechanical armin
