Oo the 20th 5.15 P-Red South Cone and Drum hoisted (indicates a typhoon to the S.E. of the Colony beyond 300 miles),

Oo the sat at 11.40.8.-The barometer has risen, considerably in S. Luz, and fallen moderately over S: China and Farmissa,

The typhoon is situated to the N.W. of Luzon, and at present it appears to be moving towards N.W.

Pressure has increased considerably and is nów high over N, China. 11 remains low over E. Japan,

N.F. gales may be expected in the Formosa Channel, and bad weather over the N. part of

the China Sea,
