Revised rules have been sanctioned by the Secretary State for the Colonies, for the establishment of Cadetships 'in' Hongkong, the Sunita Seitlements and the Federated Malay States. The holders of these appoint mens will be required to serve in either of the above Colonies or in the Stales. Cadets up pointed to this service will, in the first in stance, be alloted to the States or one of the Zother of the Colonies, but they will be liable to be transferred from one to another at the discretion of the Secretary of State, without being gives any compensation for any special local pilvileges or aḍowance.
