AN OIL SHIP BLOWN UP.

“A few minutes after eight o'clock, last night, reports the Singapore Free Press of 23rd April, an alarming explosion, the sound of the deton- allon extending all over the Tanjong Pagar as far as Nell-rd, and even reaching to town, took place on the Dutch oil tank ship Tancar. ville, in dry dock at Keppel Harbour.
