Peking, 10th April. Prince Tau has expressed his dia satisfaction with the new regulations for the Chinese Press recently issued by the Board of tivil, Affairs,
Since, however, they have been submitted to the Throne, and been promulgated it is too late to call in the new regulations.
It is believed that Prince su is in favour of greater liberty, for the Press.
A translation of the new regulations appears in the Feking and Timer, of the fand, Febre Ary, 1908, and is as follows:-
