Other persons Clerks and tambles were always coming into his office or lounging about the premises, Mr. Parsons' tamby was found in his office on one occasion. This man denied that he was ployed by Mt. Parsons and said ho was en- ployed in a liquor shop. Complainant's clerk Rajputan was sent with bird to see the liquor shop, but the man refused to point out the shop, in Mr. Parsons office there was Mr. Hastings Rhodos with whom he was on very bad terms. Loafers, touts, scoundrels and other people were always about his office Juring cases away, keeping clerks away and spoiling his business. Many clients bad com- plained, In Mr. Lowell's office there were three clerks who had been discharged by him-men of bad character. He did not think Mr. Lowell sent these people to acnoy him, but that the clerks he had discharged had done so.
