At Gozdekoro, which in Just five degrees north of the Equator, begin selles of rapids which effectually birck navigation for a distance (by road) of ra miles. Thence, from a spot called Nimuli, the Nile is again navigable right up to Albert Nyanza. The route now used by the Uganda Government for sending mails to Gondokoro takes advantage of this navigable stretch.
