TREATY BETWEEN THE UN TED KINGDON
AND THE RI PUBLIC OF NICARAGUA. The Government forwarded a copy of a Treaty of Friendship, Commerce and Naviga tion between the United Kingdom and the Republic of Nicaragua ratified on the 24th August 1905: The Commit informed the Government that as the Trenly under its Articles could be terminated as far as this Colony was concerned by giving certain notice, in their opinion it would be inadvisable to re- fuse adhesion thereto.
BRITISH POSTAL SERVICE AT TIENTSIN. The Committee were pleased to receive a, notification from the Government that, an ar rangement had been come to with the Brilish members of the Tientsin General Chamber ef Commerce whereby the Government were en abled to keep open the service until September, 1958,
SUPREME COURT VACAT ON.. The Chamber were' invited by the Govern meat to comment "pon the suggestion of the Chief Justice that the Supreme Court Vacation should be extended by 47 days.
The committee were of the opinion that such extension would interfere with public business and their opinion was supported, by many of the solicitors in the Colony, in a letter addressed by them in the Chamber.
