YARN TRADE IN JAPAN,
At a general mesilag of the sharebolders of the Kanegaluchi Collon Spinning Company, held last week, the Chairman stated that the Japan Silk and Cotton Spinning Company hav- lng bean incorporated with the Kadegaluchi as agreed on at the preceding peneral meeting,
the caplial had been increased by, Y2,400,000
(of which Y600,000 was paid up), making s total of Y. 4,006.800, and that the incorporation. had been duly registered. The meeting then adopted the accoun and report for the last half-year.
The net profit of the company for the period amounted to Y1,954.369 including Y£72,953 brought over from last account, and Y7,758, being the surplus of the late Site and Cotton Spinning Company, Of this sum, V863.957 will be distributed es a dividend at the tale of 22 per cent, per annum, Yzon,noo is placed to the reserves, Y20,000 to the pension fund of operatives. Yзnona to the relief fund, Y50,000 is paid as a bonus to officials, and the surplus of Y750, tot carried forward, An in- tarenting item is that Y40,000 has been put avido to defray the cost of a recreation hall
which has been erected for the operatives.
