Yeung Yan, the proprietor of two barber shops in Hoogkang, brought on action against his partner, Li Mosy, at the Supreme Court, last Wednesday afternoon, to recover the sum of $500 for maliciously causing him to be arrest ad and hastly imprisoning him on the 14th November last. The case, was heard before Mr. Justice Wise.
Mr. Reginald Harding appeared for the plaintiff, whilst Mr. C. F. Dixan, of Messrs. Hastings and Hastings, represented the defendant.
