Sension in Gormany The whole of Europe, especially Cerniany, is profoundly moved by a libel action pro- ceeding in Berlin against the well-known journalist Harden; who published articles in the paper Zukunft alleging that the Kaiser was surrounded and influenced politically by a coterie of which the principals 'were Prince Fulenbourg, formerly Ambassador to Vierina, and Count Kuno Molike, the Commandant * of Berlin.
The articles further hinted that the coterie was a hotbed of detestable vices, and con- siderable evidence was adduced corroborat ing the Zukunft.
Judgment in the case is expected to-day.
Later: The Bituation in the United States. The New York-financièrs are more opti mistic in view of the prospective influx of gold from Europe to South America.
