The above signals will, as heretofore, de hoisted only when typhoons, exist in such positions or are moving in such directions that information regarding them is considered to be of importance to the Colony or to abippi gi leaving the harbour.
These sigoals are repeated at the Harbour Office H.M.S. Tamar, Green Island: Signal Mast, and the Flagstaff on the premises of the Hongkong and Kowloon Wharf and Godown"" Company at Kowloon,

The following Night Signals will be exbibit ed from the Flagstaff on the roof of the Water Police Station at Kowloon, the Harbour Oßes, Flagstaff, and H.M.S. Tamar,
1. Three Lights Vertical, Green Green Green, indicates that a typhoon is believed, to bé. situated more than 300 miles from the Colony..
11. Three Lights Vertical, Green Red Green indicates that a typhoon is believed to be situated less than 300 miles from the Colony,

11. Three Lights Vertical, Red Green Red, indicates that the wind may be expected to Increase to full typhoon force at any moment.!
No. III Signal will be accompanied by the Explosive Bombs, an above, in the event of the -information conveyed by this signal being first published by night."
These Night Signals will, be substituted the the `Day Signals at sunset, and will, when
necessary, be altered during the sight.

For the benefit of Native Craft and passing. Ocean Vessels, a Cone will be exhibited at each of the following stations during the time that any of the above Day Signals are hoisted' in the Harbour.

This will indicate that there is a degresales somewhere in the Chius Sea, and that a Storm Warning is holsted in the Harbour,
