THE WEATHER,
The following report is from Mr. F. G. Figg. Director of the Hongkong Observatory
On the 19th at 11.50. The ba ometer, has failes moderately over the E. coast of China, and risen considerably in E. Japan.
A shallow depression, which will probably more Eastwards, has developed over the Lower Yangtze, and the highest pressure is now over the N. part of the Sea of Japan Pressure remains low over the Pacific to the Southward of the Bonin islands.
Moderate variable wieds are expected to prevail in the Formosa Channel, and light mosioon over the N, part of the Chics Sen.
