The above signale will, as heretofore, be hoisted only when typhooss exist in such positions or are moving in such directions that information regarding them is considered to be of importance to the Colony or to shippi g learing the harbour. ·
These signals are repeated at the Harbour Office, H.M.S. Tamar, Green Island Sigual ̧· Mast, and the Flagstaff on the premises of the Hongkong and Kowloon Whail' and Godown Company at Kowlcon.

NIGHT SIGNALS.
The following Night Signals will be exhibite ed from the Flagstaff on the roof of the Water Police Station at Kowloon, the Harbour Office Flagstaff, and H.M.S. Tamar.
1. Three Lights Vertical, Green Green Green, indicates that a typhoon is believed to be situated more than 300 miles from the Colony.
