A Russian Jewees was murdered at No. 16. Scott Road yesterday afternoon in a most cruel manner. It appears that the deceased, married woman named Lima Cappera, whose husband is said to have been away from Shanghai for some years, was living with an. other woman, who went to Yangiseped on Monday evening and celebrated the Jewish Festival with some friends there. Kearton said that for three years he had been working hard to silence the bioscope when it s taking photographs, but he regretted to say that he and his brother had not succeeded. Mr Kearton, however, was determined to get the photographs, and in order to do this, he PARTICULARS AND CONDITIONS of the letting by Public Auction Sale, to be had had to open a deliberate campaign. held on MONDAY, the jath day of Septem. days and days he had had to practically liveber, 1907, at 3 P.M., at the Officer of the Public with the dird, and worm his way into their confidence. Mr.. Kearton mentioned this only to show what could be done by patience with the most timid of creatures.
