On the 1st at 11.55 8.-The barometer has fallen lightly in the neighbourhood of Hong kong, and risen a litle over N China and Japan.
Pressure is low apparently, over the N. part of the China Sea, and a depression may be developing to the Southward of Hongkong in from 18 to 20 Lat.
Freasure is high, and in excess of the normal by between o, and oa inch over E. Japan,
Fresh E. winds are likely to prevail in the Formona Channel and fresh to. strong N.E. winds along the Northern shores of the China Sex.
Hongkong rainfall for the 24-hours ending at to mm. to-day, 000 inches.
