On Saturday afternoon, a Japanese woman, who resides at Nb. 166, Station Street South, Yau-ma-ti, top floor, attempted to end her life. She was picked up by the police and removed by jumping over the verandah of her house. to the Yau-ma-ii Police Station,, where it was discovered that the woman was seriously in jured about her head and bick. Inspector McHardy rushed her to hospital, but the chances of her recovering are believed to be saiall. The woman was about thirty years of age, and lived by herself. It is said that she is insane.
