Of late we seem to have been regated with númerous instances of bigotry of certain "sects” whose alleged "trast la the Lord" has breu responsible for the sacrifice of lives that might have been saved or sufferings alleviated bad medical aid been summoned in cases of illness.
Giving evidence before the Canning Town Coroner on 16th ult, William Copsay, a car. man, and a member of the sect known as the "Peculiar People," said he did not call the doctor to his dying child Irene, because he trusted in the Lord.
When two months old the infant fell ill, and he called at elder in. After that everything went well until Sunday, when it was seized with diarrhoea. Weak brandy and water was Administered.

1. Whether the administration of the Sani- tary and Building Regulations enacted by the Public Health and Bulldings Ordin nace, 1953, as now carried out is satisfac- tory, and, if not, what improvements can be made.
2. Whether any irregularity or corruption exists or has existed among the officials charged with the administration of the aforesaid Regulation.
