Anotor/quite as much divangaged; tonnaga in port us when we last wrote on the 15th instant, there is in other respects nothing that would justify the. freight market to be der scribed as any butter, In fact the same circum- stances prevail, there is very little doing at the close, and a fair number of steamers, practical ly of all sizes, remain unemployed.

From Saigon to this port, chartering, bustoas e has been entirely absent. There have been. other inquiries though in the course of the fort. night, for various destinations, and a tendency has been, showing on the part of owners and agants to meet charterers' rates and terms, and, as a consequence the amoädt of basiness actually put through may be called fair.

"When we came into our deceased uncle's property and house, we began searching for. the treasure he was reported to have hidden, and which had hitherto remained undiscover. edi Papa's excitement wated great, and when' one day, as we were having lunch, Billy ran in screaming 'I found the treasure, he nearly had an apoplectic fit. Everyone rashed after Billy, who flew round the house to an old tank,ONSIGNEES of Cargo from London and pointed to a bola in its stone pedestal. Papa plunged his hand in and drew out a box, which he speedily opened, and there, display ed before our eyes, were bottles and bottles of Dr. Williams' Pink Pills. Time only calmed papa's wrath; but I read the directions on the bottles and took them to our fittle invalid sister, who, after using up a few, to our great joy recovered completely, Since then we have always used the Pink Pill and recommended them to others, all finding them most benefi. cial; even papa has at last been obliged, to confess that they are the most useful treasure. we could have possibly found."
