We regrel to announce the death, which oc eurred at four o'clock yesterday afternoon, at his residence" intra Muros," Caine Road, of Mr. H. Haile; who had been for some seventeen or eighteen years connected with the longkong and Whampoa Dock Company. Mr. Hoile, who, was only 38 years of age, had been failing health for the last four months, but did not deter him from attending to his duties, and it may be said that he died in harness. Mr. Hoile was an excellent example when he arrived at Hongkong some twenty of what merit and perseverance may achieve:
